First talk of the year at Begonia

Huge support from small south-west Queensland community

The 2025 year got off to a great start for Sam and Jenny Bailey as they headed to the south-west of Queensland to speak at Begonia. The small community centred around a school and community hall is about 40 minutes drive north-west of St George. On Friday, March 21, Sam spoke to students from Begonia, Dunkeld and Thallon schools at Begonia State School. Next day Sam and Jenny returned to speak to about 70 adults and children at Begonia Hall. "It was amazing to see so many people attend," said Sam, "especially when you consider how few people live in the district. It was a cracker of a night."
